FEAST DAY OF SAINT EXPEDITE
|
SAINT EXPEDITE
PRAYER
Blessed St. Expedite,
who art honored by the
gratitude of those who
have invoked thee in
their last hour, or in
urgent necessities, we
pray thee to obtain for
us this day the grace of
(name it). Say your
urgent need of the
moment with deep emotion
and sincerity with
fervent hope that the
Lord Jesus Christ may
hear you through St.
Expedite that he may
serve and save you from
your predicament right
there and now. This we
beg and hope in all
submission to the will
of God, for the
salvation of souls
through the intercession
of our Immaculate
Mother, Mary, Mother of
Perpetual Help and
Mercy, since from the
cross He gave thee to
me. I take thee as my
own and I too give my
all to thee. I take
thee as my own and I too
give my all to thee. I
entrust all that I am
and all that I have all
that I do. Help me to
surrender ever more
fully to the Holy
Spirit. Lead me deeper
into the Mystery of the
Cross of Jesus in His
glorious coming.
We beseech
thee, O Lord, to
pour thy grace
upon us; may it
guide all our
thoughts and
actions; may it
render them
efficacious
(produced the
desired effect for
urgent intention)
so that our
prayers and our
work may begin in
thee, and be
continued by the
intercession of
St. Expedite;
courageously,
faithfully,
promptly, happily
and accomplished
in thy good time,
so that we may
merit to arrive
one day at the
possession of
heavenly things,
through Our Savior
Jesus Christ,
Amen.
Our Father
Our Father,
who art in
Heaven, hallowed
be Thy Name, Thy
kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth as it
is in Heaven.
Give us this day
our daily bread,
and forgive us
our trespasses,
as we forgive
those who
trespass against
us. And lead us
not into
temptation, but
deliver us from
evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with
you. Blessed
are you among
women, and
blessed is the
fruit of your
womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
mother of God,
pray for us
sinners, now and
at the hour of
our death. Amen.
Gloria
Glory be to
the Father, to
the Son and to
the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the
beginning, now,
and ever shall
be, world
without end.
Amen. |
